The Drysdale Confession Zusammenfassung

The Drysdale Confession: A Robert Vere crime thriller Peter Warrilow

London in the Sixties. A violent bank robbery. The getaway driver sentenced to death by hanging. His accomplices escape with the money, vanishing entirely. A sealed letter from the condemned man handed to a young solicitor with instructions not to open until after his execution. Did he name his accomplices? Years later Robert Vere, a vigilant lawyer, together with his fashion journalist partner Yvonne Clarkson, find themselves privy to the contents of the letter, unwittingly triggering a chain of events that bring them to the attention of a ruthless master criminal who will stop at nothing to protect his identity and empire. Even Vere is not prepared for the twists and turns in store - as unexpected as they are bloody. As the bodies pile up, Vere finds the killer's reach getting closer to everything - and everyone - he loves. Soon he is fighting not only for justice, but for his own life.
