This book sets out to offer an objective assessment of the 64 strongest chess players in history, based on statistical analyses of their performances. The book is based on a sophisticated computer analysis undertaken at the University of British Columbia. There are more than 80 illustrative games (with notes) as well as many extracts from other games.
