Language Intervention with School-Aged Children: Conversation, Narrative and Text Rita Naremore (Indiana University)
The focus of this text is on three language acts (conversation, narration and comprehension of text) which are extremely difficult for school aged language-impaired children and which are critical to the child's social and academic performance in school. Numerous case studies are presented in the text, serving as a basis for descriptions of assessment stategies and suggestions for intervention.
