Zusammenfassung

Holy Joe Zusammenfassung

Holy Joe Robert Graham

Joe is an appealingly imperfect human being, a classic square peg in a round hole. With priorities that are hopelessly askew, how's he ever going to hang onto his wife, his family, his faith?

Holy Joe Bewertungen

Graham has the subtle gift of being able to capture the run of a man's thoughts, and there is a lot of good dialogue and running jokes to keep you going. It's a rare skill to be able to make our average routines sound interesting and funny, and Graham adds a lot of fine touches - Joe's imaginary radio station, where the song selections mirror what is going on in his soul, is the best illustration of this technique. With it Graham marries surface and substance, creating a deft portrait of a man trying to keep his life together under extraordinary circumstances." readysteadybook.com review "There's obvious feeling here along with distinct echoes that involve Joe's, and our, emotions... well worth a read." Manchester Evening News
