Model 6 involves many transitions between past and present time. Through these reflections on the past, many questions are answered. Jae gets a clearer picture of the one who may have made Michael into a vampire. She also has a lot of inner dialogue as she tries to sort out her feelings for Michael. Ken has some close encounters with Adrian to find out the truth and to see what Adrian knows but is holding back. The reader also finds out that Ken's real father is not Michael as previously thought, but is Adrian. Eva and Adrian reflect on their past and explains what the circumstances were when Eva became pregnant with Ken. Adrian comes out as being somewhat central to the various storylines in Model. It is still unclear what Adrian's motives are but he appears in 2 different forms, as his modern self, and as his former self. The other big storyline is the one with Jae and Michael. Michael is insistent that Jae leave on the day they have agreed upon and also coldly tells her that he never wants to see her again. Jae tries to resolve the feelings she has towards Michael and tries to leave before her deadline but she finds that she is too attached to Michael and cannot leave him. This volume ends with Jae expressing her true feelings to Michael and they passionately embrace ready to move on to next step in their forbidden relationship.
