On May 20th 1992, 75 photographers from 12 countries, including six Pulitzer Prize winners, began snapping their shutters in a 24-hour race to capture, on film, the essence of Hollywood. The photographers went behind the scenes, onto the sets, into the homes and fast cars to discover the real Hollywood. After much shifting and selection, 225 of these photographs are included in this book, with pictures of directors, actors and producers. The rounded portrait that emerges is one of the world's most famous cities providing a fascinating insight into an extraordinary phenomena.
