Book has a strong musty odour. Heavy foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters, even more severely to hinges, exposing netting and causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Pen inscription to front pastedown. Boards have moderate corner bumping and edge-wear with heavy tanning, chipping and scuffing overall. Heavy splitting and chipping to joints. Spine has severe cracking and tanning with prominent loss and crushing to ends.
