Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pen inscription to front free endpaper and reverse frontispiece. Front free endpaper, title pages, frontispiece and page 1 are detached but still present. Hinges are heavily cracked with exposed netting. Binding is slightly loose. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Visible wear marks to boards.
