Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with a pencil inscription to paste-down. Minor dog-eared corners. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with notable scuffing to corners, chipping to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces. Book has a subtle forward lean. Heavy tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
