Previous owner's inscription to front paste-down. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Gilt lettering has become dull. Sunning to spine. Book has a slight forward lean. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
