Moderate foxing and noticeable tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, lighter to inner sides of free endpapers. Moderate cracking and staining to gutters and rear hinge, exposing netting and causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Sporadic intense foxing, creasing and marking. Boards have noticeable corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with visible splitting, fraying and crushing to ends. Slight split to upper rear joint. Although spine is sunned, lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a pronounced forward lean.
