Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Noticeable marking to some pages throughout; text is not obscured. Binding is firm. Heavy cracking to front hinge. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with another inscription to reverse side. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Spine and edges are slightly sunned. Gilt remains bright. A few noticeable marks overall. Boards are slightly bowed. Clipped jacket. Light tanning and foxing to all surfaces. Heavy edgewear, with visible rips and chipping, and some areas of loss.
