Former owner's inscription to front endpapers, with a pencil inscription to paste-down. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a prominent forward lean. Paint drops and bubbling on front board.
