Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Many inscriptions to paste downs and end papers, including a doodle. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Loss, peeling and splitting to leather. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened. Previous owner stamps to text block edges.
