Pages are moderately tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Binding is firm. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with small but visible marks also. Book has a minor backwards lean. Unclipped jacket. Moderate tanning to all surfaces, heaviest to spine and edges. Light foxing also. Heavy edgewear, with visible rips and chipping, and some areas of loss. Visible marking to exterior.
