Faded inscription on front free endpaper, with occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Pencil inscription to rear free endpaper. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning to edges. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Light sunning to spine end and edges. Book has a pronounced forward lean and slight bow. Unclipped jacket has moderate surface wear, with chips, tears and creasing to edges, corners and spine end. Loss to upper spine end. Lightly tanned overall.
