Pages have deckled edges. Page edges are uneven. Noticeable cracking to hinges and gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. A few dog-eared corners. Front endpaper slightly chipped to fore-edge. Slight thumbing throughout. Occasional minor marginalia. Boards have pronounced shelf-wear with corner bumping and slight fraying. Substantial sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Small splits to spine ends, causing fraying to spine ends and corners. Slight water staining to front and rear with some minor bubbling to rear. Gilt lettering is largely bright and clear with slight fading towards bottom. Book has a slight forward lean.
