Pages are moderately tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Plates are brighter. Binding is firm. Pencil inscription to front pastedown. Boards have light shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and minimal scuffing to edges. Spine is severely sunned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Gilt remains bright. Heavy rubbing and scuffing overall, with some small but visible marks also. Book has a noticeable forward lean.
