South Africa's Future: The Struggle Ahead Anthony Ginsberg
This text asserts that the initial euphoria in South Africa following Nelson Mandela's elevation to the Presidency has been replaced by a growing sense of disillusionment among the people as a whole. With the currency losing value, and unemployment and crime growing, the lack of a viable oppposition party has also led to renewed emigration of white citizens in particular. There has been a large outflow of capital as banks and financial institutions have followed suit. The book examines past failures and contemporary problems in South Africa with the focus on finding solutions to problems such as unemployment, inflation, crime, tarifs, and high taxes and high inflation to point towards a prosperous South Africa which could benefit all her citizens, and the disadvantaged majority most of all.
