This provides an account of good practice in open and distance learning. It is the successor to "Open Learning for Adults". It should provide an expert resource which will aid teaching methodology, course organization and delivery. It is aimed at university and higher education departments of education, Open University staff and students, open learning coordinators in further education colleges, adult education centres, TECs, and at training departments in larger commercial and government departments.
