Über Daniel J. Patinkin

Daniel J. Patinkin is a Chicago-born writer and businessman. His unique career has spanned the real estate, finance, education, and entertainment industries. He earned a BA in English and history from Indiana University and an MFA in producing from the University of Southern California. He is also the cowriter, with Chris Leben, of The Crippler. He lives in Los Angeles.

William Reid, MD, MPH, one of the most experienced forensic mental health professionals in North America, has received both the Manfred Guttmacher Award for forensic writing and the Seymour Pollack Award for Distinguished Contribution to Education in Forensic Psychiatry, and is a past president of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. He is the author of A Dark Night in Aurora and numerous professional volumes, articles, and book chapters, many on antisocial behavior, terrorism, and forensic practice. He lives in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.
