Über David Tremayne

David Tremayne, motor racing correspondent for The Independent, has written a number of well-received titles for Haynes including The Science of Formula 1 Design and Rubens Barrichello: In the wheeltracks of Senna. He lives in London.

Tony Brise, driving for Graham Hill's Embassy team, was killed in 1975 when Hill's plane crashed: 'He would have been a force to be reckoned with, no question' - Mario Andretti. Tom Pryce, a Shadow driver, was killed in 1977 at Kyalami: 'He had the same sort of car control as Jochen Rindt' - Alan Rees.
