Über Fiona Waters

Fiona Waters has spent all her working life with children's books. She has been a bookseller and editor, and now runs a book club, working closely with UK schools and libraries. She is a consultant, a reviewer and an expert compiler, whose previous anthologies include the acclaimed Golden Apples poetry collection (William Heinemann) and Stories for Bedtime (Orchard). Fiona Waters lives in Dorset. John Lawrence is a highly respected illustrator. He has illustrated books by Richard Adams, Susan Hill, Roald Dahl and Paul Theroux among others, as well as classic texts by Robert Louis Stevenson, Daniel Defoe and Chaucer. John Lawrence lives in Cambridge.
