This book, a follow-up to ""Investors Chronicle" Beginners Guide to Investment", is aimed at introducing the reader to a slightly more advanced level of investment knowledge. It falls into two sections - tools and techniques with "Tools" providing a number of different methods of picking shares while "Techniques" gives different ways of applying them. Subjects include technical analysis, company accounts and how to interpret them, how stockbroking analysts assess shares and share prices, and directors dealings. Further sections of the book include a potted history of how great investors, such as Warren Buffet and George Soros, go about their stock picking.
