Physical Education Graeme Kent
This book is a resource for teachers faced with the challenge of implementing the National Curriculum for physical education. A general introduction provides a rationale for PE and explains what the statutory requirements are. Subsequent chapters deal with one of six areas of activity outlined in the programmes of study - athletics, dance, games, outdoor and adventure activites, and swimming. In addition there are sections devoted to integrated programmes of activity, assessment and record-keeping, cross-curricular activities and out-of-school sport.
