This volume presents tartan-covered objects. These objects - ranging from snuff boxes, sewing implements and board games - are the products of the tartan craze which swept Victorian England. The majority were produced in the early to mid-19th century by Scottish master craftsmen. Many of the pieces in this book come from Princess Ira's own collection.
