Centring on how best to work with children and their families, this monograph aims to help adults, including parents, to help children play and learn by focusing on effective observation and planning. Working in partnership with parents and integrating the Early Years Curriculum into existing provisions are discussed. Case studies are also featured, while an equal opportunities strand runs throughout the text and has been strengthened.
