The Farm on the Moors continues the story of the Curzon family that began in The House on Baxtergate. Lives, loves, lies and losses entwine in an enchanting web that spans twenty-five years. Set at the end of the Eighteenth Century in a beautiful ancient farmhouse on the North Yorkshire Moors, as well as in the prosperous town of Whitby, the story tells of whaling ships, polar bears, a nine-year courtship which takes place entirely in a cupboard and many a good glass of brandy!
