Berlin has seen huge upheavals in the past fifteen years, not least its reinstatement as the capital city of the reunified Germany. Significant among these changes is its re-establishment as the thriving centre of the German art world: many home-grown artists are choosing to live and work there, and a diverse group of internationally renowned and aspiring artists has also converged on the city.
