Skipness: The Wider View Joanna Gordon
After a varied career in Education and Community Development in England and West Africa, followed by a decade of Research in Criminology at the University of Edinburgh, Joanna Gordon (b.1923) has distilled her experience of the Highland birthplace of her mother, Frances Graham of Skipness, and her uncle, Angus Graham, the well-known Scottish antiquary and author of Skipness: Memories of a Highland Estate, into a short, fully illustrated study of Skipness's connections with a wider world, including that of Dutch-American forbears among the founders of New York.
