This is an entertaining and engaging thriller series, but one with real punch and one not afraid to shine a light on real social issues. I'm very much looking forward to the third title in the series and can't recommend these books enough.

'A River of Bodies' ended on a massive cliff-hanger - I cannot wait for book three! This would make a wonderful TV series.

Noelie, Black Gary, Meabh, Katrina and Martin are trying to find the truth, but it puts them all in danger......will they all survive? And will they get nearer to getting justice for the victims....?
This group of friends are just normal people, not gung ho action figures and this gives such believability to the tale.
This is a dark, edgy and gripping read with an underlying feeling of menace ...and really sets the scene for Book 3......

This is fiction but it rings true, A River of Bodies chimes with the stuff that is out there because of the real inquiry and court cases. The novel has a very Irish feel; everything from the involvement of the diaspora from the homes to the pitch perfect setting and the religious/political climate that helps with the mood of the novel. This is a heart breaking story and must have involved some dark hours of research but it was worth it. This is a thriller with bite and emotional impact. Sad, tragic and real.

his really is a fantastic political thriller, written in such a way that you won't be able to stop yourself reading it in one sitting. Noelie is so determined to uncover all the dirty secrets regarding the Donnelly family and their associations with the Catholic church and the security forces.
I'm looking forward to the third book of the trilogy being published and finding out how Noelie and his friends manage to uncover!

Full of twists and all I can say is the reader needs to hold on.

A gripping read and I definitely think you should take a look at this series.
Highly recommended.

Although the pace is slower in this second installment, there is an underlying tension that kept my heart racing throughout. The sense of danger is palpable and the Donnelly's are a family I would not like to cross! Kevin Doyle has written a sequel as impressive as the first and I can't wait to read what I'm sure will be a thrilling conclusion to the Solidarity Books Trilogy.
