"Mudworks" is recognized as a classic in art education and has received high honors from ALA. "Mudworks" is also available in a bilingual edition ebook format, "Mudworks Bilingual". Kohl has an extensive workshop and event schedule year round throughout the country. She is active in social medial, sends a monthly newsletter to hundreds of followers, and is interviewed on a regular basis. She is on the Board of Directors for the Independent Book Publishers Association. She lives in Bellingham, Washington.
