The American President Robert E. DiClerico
This text explores the potential and limitations of presidential influence as the institution seeks to function in an increasingly controversial political environment. In this edition, the chapter on presidential selection is updated to include the 1992 Presidential Election, also incorporating the first 18 months of the Clinton Presidency. There is a new section on Anti-Presidency Bias as well as expanded coverage of the media. This work is intended for use on undergraduate level courses on the Presidency.
