Matters are complicated by the fact that perfectly reputable witnesses cannot agree on the straightforward matter of identifying the killer. With the appointment of a new career-mad superintendent, Angel unexpectedly becomes the prey of a family of dangerous and desperate crooks led by the shapely Mrs. Gina Rossi, while a friend of his becomes caught up in an alarming scam. With all this to contend with, DI Angel and his team must unravel an unusual and chilling mystery.

Über Roger Silverwood

Roger Silverwood lives on the outskirts of Barnsley. After National Service he entered the toy trade where he became a sales director. Aged 50 he went into business with his wife as an antique dealer specialising in Victorian jewellery until he retired in 1997. This is the sixth novel in the DI Michael Angel series.
