Claire has a past from two years ago. Harry Stone had sent her to spy on Rick Austen, a competitor, but she moved in with Rick and enjoyed the high life. Claire's past is hidden from Rick and that is the way it must stay. But Stone is angry... Arrow Hall, Stone's mansion had been torched by druggies as Claire left and Stone thought he had lost codes to access hidden Panama bank accounts. Claire visits the derelict site to retrieve the codes as they are her insurance against Stone talking to Rick, and her warm memories of Arrow Hall are dashed. On a new deal Stone owes money to Xavier, a gangland thug, and is pushed into laundering a quarter of a million in dirty notes. Stone entices Martyn Blake to wash this cash through his supermarket business, which unbeknownst to Stone, is also partly owned by Rick. A shock suicide exposes a large gambling deal and Xavier's cash is lost. Rick sends Claire to investigate and she finds Stone's corrupt money. Stone is forced to visit a Caribbean island where marijuana is grown. He must bring back half a million US dollars, which he then hides in the ruins of Arrow Hall. Claire keeps Stone's Panama codes so he calls on Rick and spills her past. Will Rick say goodbye to Claire? Will Xavier hunt Stone down? The future of Arrow Hall certainly looks bleak...
