Sally Harding is American and has worked as a knitting and crochet designer, author, and editor in both the UK and USA. She was formerly senior editor on American Vogue Knitting magazine where she commissioned patterns and supervised the pattern editing. Author of Crochet Style (published by Frances Lincoln) and co-author of the hugely successful Encyclopedia of Needlecraft (with Judy Brittain) for Dorling Kindersley, she has more recently worked as Kaffe Fassett's principal editor on almost all of his highly successful books. She is passionate about both knitting and crochet, and keen to update a traditional craft so that it reaches a new audience.
