Über Stella Blackstone

Stella Blackstone has written many bestselling titles for Barefoot Books, including the popular Bear and Cleo series and My Granny Went to Market. Stella lives with her family in Somerset. Stephanie Bauer has been painting since the age of six, and over 30 years later, she continues to infuse her paintings with wonder and whimsy. Born and brought up in Vermont, she received her degree in interior design and entered the architectural profession. She now works as a full-time artist and lives with her husband and three daughters in Oregon, USA.
