Über Susan Croft

Susan Croft has worked as a director, dramaturg, workshop leader and Lecturer in Creative and Performance Arts. In 1986 she founded the New Playwrights Trust. In 1996 she was awarded an Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship to pursue her research on women playwrights at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin. Since 1997 she has been Curator of Contemporary Performance at the Theatre Museum in London. She is currently completing her Critical Bibliography of Published Women Playwrights in the English Language 1360-1914 for Manchester University Press.You can find out more in Susan Croft's website, which includes updates on the playwrights featured in She Also Wrote Plays since first publication.
