An attempt, in a combination of essays, statements and photographs, to capture the essence of the Tyne International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, containing site-specific work by 15 international artists. The works, concentrated in the historic Quayside of Newcastle, are by Acconci (USA), Borland (UK), Diaz (Chile), Drozdik (Hungary), Fretton (UK), Goldin (USA), Graham (Canada), Kirkup and Naldi (UK), Meirles (Brazil), Samore (USA), Toren (UK), Tunga (Brazil), Houshiary (UK), Zaugg (Switzerland) and Readymades Belong to Everyone (France).
