This handsome anthology, published to coincide with the school's 140th anniversary, will contain a wonderful collection of intimate, moving, funny and possibly outrageous memories from OEs, staff, parents, pupils and friends of the College. Thirty years on, I look back at my days at Eastbourne College with considerable affection. Memories include treading the Big School boards, with much enthusiasm and little or no talent; cricket on College Field in the glorious summer of 1976; missed tackles in rugby; and the influence of outstanding teachers like Dickie Brent. - Adam Mynott, BBC East Africa Correspondent, Powell 1971-76.
