'The Great Spirit' is White Eagle's most frequent name for the power behind our lives which is beyond name: God, the Oneness, Brahma. This book arises directly out of White Eagle's experience and knowledge while on earth in a Native American body, and it shows a way of living that is deeply reverential of nature, and one lived in deep awareness of a higher world we can contact inwardly. The brotherhood of life with which it deals thus embraces not only humanity, but the natural world and the worlds beyond death.
