Winning with the Queen's Indian Zusammenfassung

Winning with the Queen's Indian Zoltan Ribli

This book covers the Queen's Indian defence (1 d4 Nf6, 2 c4 e6 Nf3 b6) which has become popular over the last few years, with many new and original ideas at the Grandmaster level. This is a general strategic guide to the main plans for both sides, concentrating on complete games which give the reader a feel for the types of middle game which may arise. Kasparov and Karpov feature prominently in this work, which complements "How to Play the Nimzo-Indian" by providing a virtually complete repertoire for Black against 1 d4. Zoltan Ribli is one of Hungary's leading Grandmasters and was a semi-finalist in the World Championship in 1983. Gabor Kallai is a Hungarian International Master.
