Pages are mostly clear, with moderate tanning and foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Mild cracking to hinge and gutters, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Former owner's dedication to front free endpaper, with a pencil inscription to paste-down. A few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Plate is bright, although water stained at edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a subtle forward lean. Light mottling to front board.
