Pages are lightly tanned throughout. Heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Text and plates are clear. Rough cut pages with gilt top textblock edge. Cracking to gutter between pages 208 and 209 with exposed netting. Boards have mild edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Foxing is present to board edges. Substantial sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear to front board, slightly darkened to spine.
