Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with pencil inscription to pastedown. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with prominent bumping and fraying to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Boards are slightly bowed. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Heavy mottling on front and rear boards. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
