Black and white illustrations throughout. Pages are lightly tanned, but text remains clear. Plates are bright. Binding is firm. Heavier tanning to endpapers, with inscription to front pastedown. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are moderately tanned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Light rubbing and scuffing overall. Gilt remains bright.
