Previous owner's inscription to front end-paper. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Front board is held only by binding thread. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains quite firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Loss to leather, heaviest at spine tail. Gilt lettering is darkened.
