Previous owner's inscription to half title page. Boards have heavy shelf-wear, with visible corner bumping and noticeable scuffing to edges. Spine is moderately tanned, with noticeable crushing and splitting to ends. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with some noticeable marking also. Gilt remains bright. Book has a slight forward lean.
