Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers. Occasional thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Clipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Dark rubbing and marking to surfaces, with scuffing to edges and small splits to joints.
