Minimal foxing and tanning to endpapers, title page and page edges. Previous owner's name to top of title page, dated 1790. Glue shadows to edges of paste downs and endpapers. Front hinge slightly cracked, but board remains firm. Moderate wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners. Small splits (approx. 1cm) to joint ends and corners. Some rubbing and peeling to leather. Minor tanning to spine, with scuffing and marking to boards.
